Job Overview:



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our tailoring and production team at a growing fashion house in Lekki. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of garment production, and basic financial acumen. You will be instrumental in maintaining high production standards, optimizing team performance, and ensuring seamless daily operations.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the tailoring and production team.

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and production deadlines.

  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to tailors to boost efficiency and craftsmanship.

  • Collaborate closely with the design team to align production with design specifications.

  • Maintain detailed records of production output, fabric usage, and inventory.

  • Assist in basic accounting duties, including expense tracking, petty cash handling, and budget adherence.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational or personnel issues in a timely manner.

  • Foster a positive, productive, and creative work environment.



Qualifications and Requirements:




  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, ideally within the fashion or apparel production industry.

  • Strong understanding of tailoring workflows and garment construction.

  • Basic knowledge of financial management and accounting procedures.

  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.

  • Passion for fashion and a keen eye for quality and detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
